I am pretty certain this is the bitartrate salt of DMAE - although this is not stated anywhere on the container, nor in the product description. Dimethylaminoethanol as a freebase is an oily liquid which freezes at -59 degrees C, while the product here is a crystalline solid. This is not an issue, especially considering all other available DMAE supplements are the bitartrate salt. I just feel that it should be made clear exactly what chemical is in the tub you buy. Also, there are dosage implications given that this product only contains 37% DMAE by mass (however the dosage stated on the tub is accurate - the maximum recommended dose is 500 mg up to 4 times daily, equating to a maximum of 740 mg pure DMAE per day). I'd like to reiterate that the only form of DMAE you can buy is the bitartrate salt, so there is no issue with the product itself. I would recommend it :)
